Brian Lindley studied drawing and painting during the late forties at the Salford College of Art, Manchester. He went on to work in London in the advertising indurstry for many years but always painted. He took early retirement and exhibited widley including the Pastel Society and the New English Art Club at the Mall Galleries, London. He was a winner of the John Brandler prize at the 1992 exhibition of the NEAC.
Brian travelled extensively and painted landscapes, sea and townscapes in this country and abroad; we were delighted to hold several solo exhibitions of Brian's work during his lifetime.
