Paul Jones

Thought to be the son of the sporting artist S E J Jones (op. 1820-1849), Paul Jones also painted sporting subjects. His horse pictures were limited to the Highland ghillies’ ponies with their game bags on their backs, and he also painted sporting dogs. His paintings were usually very small and painted with intricate detail, sometimes on panel.
